Thanks everyone for attending the Victoria Kiwis Hangi. There was a great turn-out and the weather was brilliant. A big thanks goes out to Dave Cresswell for hosting the Hangi again this year and to all the volunteers for helping to make the big day happen.
It's always wonderful to see so many local kiwis, friends and family out enjoying the fun, food, culture and entertainment.
We hope to see you all back next year.

there iwas doing my job at work and along comes this chap and asks me where I was from in New Zealand. Now lots have asked me where my accent comes from and are told and thats that but this one tells me about this site and ther hangi so here I am. I am new to Sooke via Edmonton and Grande Prairie - I finally feel like the land belongs to my soul again. I am close to the sea and love it in my new home. Just thought I would put that out there and see what comes back! Fiona @ RONA

Welcome to the coast,Sooke by the sea is great,try & make it to the hangi next year 2010 such a great session & tons of kai for less than a jug.
this years hangi is 31 july , long weekend campover too
